Why did we choose to use Drupal to build our platform
Simply put Drupal can be used to build everything from a small personal blog all the way to a full powered Web Application. The flexibility it gets is from the flexible theme and module system that Drupal uses in order to expand it's Core functionality, which on its own is still a pretty impressive website.
Drupal is a free, OpenSource platform, which means you can use it in just about any way you would like for free. It beats its competition because of the thousand of professional programmers, designers, security experts, and more that spend their time building Contrib modules for the system.
Drupal allows you to easily manage your content, users, store, and more through a web based interface. The Drupal contrib modules follow a standard method of programming making them all more and more stable and less likely to fail when you need them most. When they do fail there is the Drupal Issue queue along with Wembassy's support team that will work to correct the issue that you may be experiencing.
Drupal comes with a large community of Programmers, Developers, Designers, and other professionals, hobbyists, and fans that all take part in conferences, chatting on IRC, and forming local support groups. All of this community means that it is easier to find information about any sort of question you may have regarding your Drupal powered Wembassy site.
